The Gatehouse is a non-profit organization in the DFW Metroplex that is dedicated to equipping single mothers for success. They provide housing, career, and education programs to help single mothers overcome hardships and achieve self-sustainability. The Gatehouse offers two tracks - Career Track and Education Track - where women are empowered to remove barriers and develop lifelong skills. With safe on-campus housing and resources like childcare, they can focus on their career or education goals to create long-term stability.

The Gatehouse was founded in 2015 as an initiative of projectHandUp, a Christian organization, in response to the increasing challenges faced by women in the community. Their mission is to give women and children a hand up for permanent, positive change. The Gatehouse takes a holistic approach, providing time, resources, and relationships to create a foundation for self-sustainability. They believe in the dignity of earned success and offer support based on individual needs. Through their comprehensive program, members are empowered with hope, coaching, goal-setting, and development of personal empowerment plans. The Gatehouse aims to uplift women, instill confidence, and provide them with the necessary skills for long-term success.
